The culture i envy the most, when i go abroad is how people make eye contact, greet each other, and ask how they are doing, even when just passing by. That's so warm. I didn't do it a lot in korea. But when i‘m abroad i greet people who make eye contact with me and easily talk to strangers.

When I flew back to Hong Kong for the holidays after my first semester in a US university, I greeted my cousin, not in the Chinese way, but the American eye contact and how are you doing? "How am I doing?" He repeated, and he honestly didn't know how to reply... 😅 The most difficult greeting I had to learn in the US was eye contact.
