Running has never been about winning or pace for me. It’s about showing up for myself, moving through the anxiety, pushing past the weight of depression, and proving—one step at a time—that I am stronger than the thoughts that try to hold me back.
I run for my mental health, for clarity, for those moments of peace that come when my feet hit the ground and my mind finally quiets.
