I mean, Cali wine is reputable. Shout out to Oregonian Willamette Valley wines, too. I did indulge in such things every now and then, but my local SAQ is stocked with a wealth of wonderful wines and spirits from around the world and local, so I wouldn’t reach for one regularly anyway. American exceptionalism is also thinking that we don’t have other options than American, but we very much do. Always have. And evidently, the boycott shows it’s not even that hard to choose differently.
