Men like this target younger women because we’re easier to manipulate, easier to guilt-trip, and less likely to call out their BS. But guess what? I see everything clearly now. He never invested in me emotionally. He never saw me as an equal. He just wanted someone young and admiring to stroke his fragile ego. And the second he found someone “better,” he discarded me like an option. But I was never an option. I was the prize. And I’m choosing me.
