My Gen Z teen's theory is that the shift we've seen in *who* is having kids is a primary contributing factor, which makes SO much sense to me.
We know for a fact that a large number of Gen Xers/elder Millennials either don't have kids or are having kids later in life due to many factors, so the kids they do have tend to trend closer to the Gen Alpha range. So who was still popping out Gen Z at a rate generally on pace w/ Boomers, comparatively?
*Conservative* Gen Xers/elder Millennials.
