it's been almost 3 months since my show ended & i decided to take an extended (forever?) break from theatre and you know what's amazing???? instead of being at work 6 nights a week until 10/10:30pm and commuting home on the subway and not getting home til 11pm, sometimes later, i get to be sat on my couch at 9:15pm with a cup of tea and a cozy blankie. yeah, money is stressful. yeah, i'm overwhelmed a lot. but damn.... the peace that this simple moment brings me?? kinda worth it.
