Because here’s the thing that nail techs who are NOT black may not understand…. We are TIREDDD of being pitted as “angry black women” when we actually speak up for ourselves. Our world has molded society to expect us to placate and hush just to fit in, and be “acceptable.” So when I see tweets saying the n word but it keeps getting glossed over, ima be sad asf. And irritated. Especially when it’s somebody I have supported and looked up to.
