Please never forget to consider a woman’s hormones when coming into the ER for something. I nearly died bc two drs weren’t even considering menopause - and the stress it put on adrenals. I diagnosed myself while they were on the phone to my husband telling him I wouldn’t make it thru the night but they didn’t know why and they had ruled out everything they could think of. I was in total adrenal failure. 14 months on steroids. Now off them and on HRT. When we tank, it can get bad very quickly.
