My grandson just said something to me that caused me to pause. He just turned 21 n we lost my daughter when he was 12. I asked him after surviving the lose of his mom at such a young age is he numb to the pain of his girlfriend breaking up with him. He sd "no bcus I lost my mom at such a young age, it's hard for me to make connections" There are layers to grief and I don't think we really find out about until we begin to uncover them. 🤍
