I'd say save because what you know when you start will be greatly outpaced in a few months time if you really enjoy it. Then you'll know exactly what to look for.

I didn’t learn anything on my Rebel that I couldn’t have also learned on a Mark III (and then some.) If you have the money, get the good stuff. That being said, the best camera is the one in your hand. Nothing wrong with learning on a budget.
