Without going into the entire story, it basically went down like this. I was graduating with my Master’s degree and, of course, family and friends were celebrating. She was a moderate drinker and a BIG (weed) smoker, but for some reason she didn’t drink or smoke at all. I don’t smoke, so I was happy about that, but her not smoking or drinking was still weird.
