Many people are criticizing Chuck Schumer for voting in favor of the Republican funding bill, but the democrats are painted into a very unfavorable corner. They either vote to pass this bill, or they face a government shutdown with an unhinged Trump in charge. This would give Trump even more power to do what he wants without opposition. The Trump admin will likely try to prolong that shutdown for as long as possible because of this. Voting for this bill is the lesser of two evils.
