In that way humans kinda feel like the "high elves" of GW2, ruins and remnants of their ancient kingdoms are all over the world, many lands still afflicted by the powerful magics that humanity once unleashed upon the world (and themselves)
And yeah, I like that Humanity in Guild Wars arent just generic earth-like humans, cuz they seem to have access to some of the most powerful civilization-destroying magic in Tyria
