I have been active in politics since I was just a kid, and at 70, I can still get weirdly emotional when it comes to seeing my hopes and dreams for the future of my country embodied by a candidate. I feel that way today seeing the new PM who I believe is the perfect man for the times.

I agree, I know exactly who to credit for Canada coming through the 2008 global financial meltdown relatively unscathed. I will never forget massive banks globally folding.

I knew Carney was a good guy when he was prepared to stick his neck out and say Brexit was stupid. He was right then and I'm sure he'll be right in leading Canada to the best of his ability. Assuming the barmy bastsrd Trump doesn't invade of course.

I watched one of Carney’s speeches a few years ago, and immediately I knew he’s PM material. I told my husband that this was the person who should be our PM. And I’m so happy my to see this come true. We need to make sure that we keep him in office in the upcoming election. We cannot afford to lose it to PP who will then lose our country to the southern crazies.
