We can’t love what we don’t know. Getting to know someone or something takes time and effort. True love takes time and effort. How can you expect your Imān to be strong, your love for Allah and the Qur‘ān to be deep, your authenticity in prayer to be real, your life to be purposeful, to experience the fullness in life and the peace that comes with all of those things, and not see that you have to put in the effort to get there?
