The U.S. funds 70% of NATO, meaning your security is basically America’s charity project. And ‘elbows up’? Sounds like a beer league hockey slogan, not a war strategy. Keep pretending you’re tough while America ensures you never have to prove it.

NATO is actually a crucial pillar of the USA’s soft power which prevents wars from happening. It’s also in its strategic security interests as part of nuclear non-proliferation. The US military umbrella stops multiple nations acquiring nukes to defend themselves. The more nukes there are in the world, the more likely it is some maniac gets their hands on a warhead. NATO is central to US security.
