I had a hard time recognizing that I was having post partum partly due to the fact that most of my life and leasing up to my daughter being born I already felt and thought of what you shared. Obviously not in motherhood until recently but all those feelings and thoughts I had were multiplied when I had my daughter. It took months of postpartum therapy just to get back to what I used to call ground zero. Now I'm fighting to get out of the constant fight or flight mode I've been in for so long.
