I am resurrecting my high school French and using an app to at least be able to converse. If Prime Minister Mark Carney can work on his French while fighting off threats to our sovereignty, running an election campaign, and improving our economy…I can work to improve my French too! It’s important to me to acknowledge and embrace the English, French and Indigenous underpinnings of our culture right now. I’m also reading and learning about our colonizing past and the present day effects.
