Unpopular Opinion: I regret going to university.... Those four years spent studying and being tested on things I’ll never use in daily life could have been better spent actually building the life I want. Do you think university is a scam?

i think this a hot debate. if i’m defending university, i’ll say that you can use it to make connections. I’ll even say that it’s more about networking and learning how to behave and cope with different opinions than to follow classes. For sure, if you’re in a master’s degree that’s specialized in something you love, you’ll gain a lot of knowledge from going there. I think nowadays it’s possible to learn anything online, with youtube videos, courses, ebooks…but it’s about doing it together

No, it is not a scam. Is it overpriced? Certainly. Is it for everyone? Arguably, no. Is it fraudulent or deceptive? Only from an admissions perspective, and even then I would say it’s arguably still not scammy. Otherwise no, there’s value in it.
