I have a few friends who own their own businesses, one operates on tourism. He says this has been the single most devastating year of his entire operation, and it's only March. He's gotten HUNDREDS of cancellations from people who were going to visit from abroad. Poof. Gone. Our little town's economy may be wiped out in a single year. And I know these stories are repeating everywhere.

Not yet. When major sections of cities start being burned, focusing on political areas, then we'll have been pushed too far. Right now we can't get any protest more than a few hundred people.

Not until it becomes more about those issues and less about the other minutiae. I was until recently a blamer of Democrats not voting is why the left lost, but recently I have seen research there has been a pretty big albeit silent shift to the right of the voting populous because they see little for the working/ middle class in left policies.
