I have a lot of thoughts. 1st - I agree for something to BE a trilogy, it should have am interconnected story. I disagree it has to be fully preplanned. I think BttF works as a trilogy because despite not even intending a sequel at first, they came up with 2 sequels that connect really well.

2 分鐘內	Matthew Abel matthewabel	I consider it a trilogy by that metric. The only thing that bugs me is Marty all of a sudden hating being called a chicken, but I head canon that out. Of course, my head canon kind of ruins it being a trilogy because I believe in the sequel we are watching the Marty who travels back in time at the end of the first movie.
