there’s this video i’ve seen several times times about a young girl that wanted to jump from a tabletop to the floor. she hesitates but her father encourages her like a coach would. she jumps, pops catches her, they hug. but whenever i see it, a scene from one of the now defunct “This Life” series by Wale Adenuga back in the early 2000s comes to mind. where a boy standing on a roof is asked to jump by his father (or grandpa, memory fails me).
