Idk where tf people are getting that this is weeks after the invincible war since eve’s dad says that she’s been unconscious for almost a week and Eve gets knocked out day 2 of the invincible war. This means that the conquest fight can only happen at most a week from the invincible war

"live everyday like it's your last" I guess is the only logic that makes remotely any sense in this universe as it's painfully true

The war occurred in major cities. Set locations and a bunch of them were killed. People are moving along after the tragedy. Clearly the war wasn't taking place here. For the same logic why would people in LA keep going to a beach while NewYork was under attack in avengers.

This was clearly a city that wasn’t hit before, they didn’t literally get to and destroy every single city

The citizens were like “Surely something like that would NEVER happen again, Let’s go enjoy a day at the beach!”

That beach resort does not look packed for one . For two we don’t know how long that fight was . A lot of people even today would say fuck it I’m still going on my vacation on top of fuck it I keeed a vacation

Youre thinking about it from a real world perspective, these people have events like this often & on top of that, the Invincible War was a week before this battle so people started to go back to their normal lives…

I’m sure youve heard about the conflicts in Ukraine and Palestine, the social rumble happening in South America, or the non stoping conflicts in several African countries. But yet we still go to the beach without thinking on it. I’m sure the writers were not thinking like this while creating that sequence, but it’s still a dumb approach to try and discredit the series, because it’s a really dumb argument.
