Full disclosure: I am not a life long supporter of the Liberal party. I am very much a leftist, but my vote swings between the NDP and Liberals depending on who is running in my riding, who is running in the other parties, and how people line up with issues I think are important. Heck, I once even voted Conservative back in 1979 (you are welcome, Joe Clark) but, in my defense, I was 18 and voted the way my Dad did.
