Wasn't this idea thoroughly debunked in the 1980s? Air, water, and food. Or maybe the fact that 40% of adults have used weed at some point, but close to 0% of them become junkies means that weed isn't a gateway drug? 100% of heroin users also breathe, drink, and eat, so are those obviously gateway drugs?
