Nature’s spaghetti is a joke, but one of the benefits of weaving with kudzu—aside from its abundance and lack of natural place in my local ecosystem—is that most of the plant is not only non-toxic but actually edible. I feel more comfortable making kudzu baskets for your home use than wisteria baskets. Wisteria is more accessible to me and by far my favorite material to use, but almost all parts are poisonous. 🧵
