That's overboard. It's still shorts weather with a jacket!

I grew up in a place with cold snowy winters. I’ve been living in San Francisco for 15 years and cold here hits different! The humidity is different, the cold ocean air, the wind - it all matters. Hats though is a different thing. I never liked wearing hats and I still don’t. But I see many Californians wear hats with shorts and sandals - I guess their ears get cold faster than their feet 😅 I prefer to keep my feet warm and my ears and face can handle the cold 😉

It’s not 60, it’s cold as F. 6 degrees yesterday

There is a woman at my gym who has a rechargeable electric heated puffer vest. She wears it indoors sometimes to be warm before and after class. I moved here from Maryland where I was used to having to sit outdoors for youth soccer club in the winter at night and I had never seen one of these before. I’m also from Houston so I know it’s possible to adapt to the weather where you live.

I have lived in different parts of the cold and when it’s cold here in LA in 60s it is almost equivalent to 40s in the east coast. It’s probably the proximity to the ocean🤷🏻‍♀️

lol! Gotta protect the ears. I've been wearing my hood from my car to inside lately.

But 60 is freaking cold to San Diegans!
