This week at work: Thursday was bad. Honestly, I have a much better work week only working three days (12 hour shifts) compared to the schedules I had working in skilled nursing but this week was just littered with chaos. I’ll blame the moon because what in the fuck was this shit? It was all mostly spent with one or two heavy care patients and all the chaos they brought. Thursday: had to do CPR on a patient that was awake. He was already on a ventilator and was SUPPOSED to be asleep. 🧵⬇️

5 分鐘內	Steven Thompson illusionarytechnique	But nooooo he wasn’t during our first code blue and managed to be awake during some shocks to correct his heart rhythm later in the morning. Shit went south and stayed there. Friday: not horrible. Just managed MedSurg chaos. Some likely confused brains and just… MedSurg is always chaotic. Then there is today, saw someone pass so much blood through their Foley catheter that it ended up clotting and left a congealed mass in the drainage bag. So, that was cool. But fuck.
