My Italian mother-in-law always says that if I don’t wear an undershirt (canottiera), my stomach will start hurting, and then I’ll catch a cold. Such a terrifying connection. I’ve noticed that many Italians, even young, wear undershirts under their clothes. Should I be worried and start doing the same? 😁
