Here’s a thought. The homeless problem is not a problem of housing people. It is a problem of drug addiction and mental illness. We can and have spent billions on a solution and have not come close to solving it. FORGET about the homeless aspect and focus on the drug problem and mental illness problem. Tough love to the drug addicted and institutionalize the mentally ill. When they are accounted for the homeless problem will be negligible.
