Unfortunately for the school board member that made a speech about our district having a “parent problem” after 15 of us asked the board to reject religious language arts curriculum, I will now be bringing each individual curriculum concern I have to the board meetings 2x/month for the foreseeable future. Just curious, at what age did your 7 year old learn slave owners were just innocent babies protecting their heritage? 🥹 Texas

This is not OK and so many low income districts are adopting Bluebonnet due to the incentives the state is offering. It is doing an incredible disservice to our most vulnerable populations. My Superintendent is considering it, but hasn't brought it to the board yet. I am extremely disappointed.
