Rilla of Ingleside was the first book I didn’t finish. I got to the same spot and just stopped reading. I was soooo angry!!! Years later I picked it back up because it bothered me that I didn’t finish the book. I’ve now read it many times and it’s one of my favorites. I say finish it. You won’t regret it.
