It gets worse. CNN is now reporting that House Democrats were blindside by Chuck Schumer. They voted against the bill so Senate Democrats could have a stronger negotiating position, even though some of them wanted to vote in favor for the same reasons Chuck did. He was supposed to hold the line, but instead he barreled right over it.
