I'm not a weeb with a superiority complex and understand people enjoy their own things. I also like to not have to read and constantly demand my focus on shows. Also there's a solid few shows where the voice is better dubbed or just as good. Mob psycho reigen is a thousand times better dubbed than subbed and Mob himself atleast for the first 2 seasons is better dubbed, third season they swapped VAs and fucked it up.

Because I’m not fluent in Japanese and I want to watch something I can understand without having to read subtitles. More importantly, why do you give even half a shit?

Some anime dubs are really good. For example: elfen lied, paranoia agent

Cause some people just enjoyed hearing their own language without reading the subs.

Listen here, I’m fine watching films with subtitles. So I could watch the subbed, but I prefer the dub. When you’re watching a film with subtitles, sometimes the dialogue doesn’t hit like it would if you understand the language. Delivery is important and it’s tough to feel the delivery of the line when I can’t understand what they’re saying. Yes, I can read it, but it’s just not the same. Also sometimes the dub is better.

Why do you care ?
