I’m uncomfortable with some of the “imagine if Obama did that” comments when it comes from white people. On the one hand, it’s necessary to be aware of the racism and how in a lot of ways, Black Americans have to give 150% just to be treated 50%. But often it feels…complacent. Like they’re not going to push back on the reality, just comment on it.
