I’ve noticed a growing trend where some evangelical circles frame empathy as ‘toxic’—not because it is, but b/c it makes people more likely to see the humanity in those they’re told to condemn. 💭 If Jesus were here today, would he really be at these rallies? Or would he be at the border🏳️‍🌈 in LGBTQ+ shelters🏠 and standing with the marginalized? ✊🏾 I’m not religious, but I do know this: empathy isn’t the enemy—it’s what makes us human 💕✨ EmpathyMatters
