I was raised into a Christian and also islamophobic household. I would’ve never thought that I would embrace Islam and wear hijab one day. Most people will never find what they need to learn, because they’re too scared to look into the depths of their own hatred and explore the uncomfortable. Seeking knowledge can be scary but OH is it liberating. Once I started to open my heart, I couldn’t deny the truth any longer. „That which we need the most will be found where we least want to look.“
