Why do you think this story has sparked so much attention? *Not here to pick any fights just want to hear people's thoughts*

The workplace is for working. Appropriate attire includes clothing that is not revealing (top or bottom). There are ways to be this office siren that still meets dress code. Pencil skirts (to the knee!), tight sweaters, etc.

Depends on your definition of mini I guess. Technically minis can be pretty long, and yes I wear them to the office with no issues

This must be in America? I’ve worn - and will continue to wear - miniskirts to the office without issue. Jobs shouldn’t “dress code”, WTF? I’m an adult and nobody’s about to tell me what I should wear, especially in such a horrendous environment as an office or other workplace. If a woman is uncomfortable that I’m not wearing a cardigan and floor-length skirt like she is, that’s her problem; if a man feels I’m distracting him from his tasks, then he needs to work on himself, too.

In the 80’s everyone wore mini skirts- they were 80’s minis so maybe not considered crazy today, but we all thought we were the shit then

There should be no dress codes at work. Dress codes are stupid and have no effect on the work you do. I have worked in places that required panty hose and nothing above the knee, and places with no dress code- everyone does their work.

Office siren is just a fun dress up trend like “corporate vampire” or “what I’d wear if I was a character on _____ tv show” or “what I’d wear as a teacher.” Ppl took the trend way too seriously and started showing up to work in tiktok fashion 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ (which I’m all for as long as your following said workplace policy)
