It’s an unpopular opinion because it’s just not the whole picture. It’s not normal to be around your kids 24/7. We need our own space and separate identity from being a mother. I am a mother but that’s not all I am. While I agree it’s learning self regulation, I don’t agree that we don’t need breaks. That’s silly.

19 小時內	Carrie Jo mindfulmotherhood1111	I know plenty of people that travel full time with their kids on the road and they never complain of needing a break from them. Also a lot of moms homeschool their kids are are with them 24/7 and they love it. So I think it's just a personal preference how you determine to be YOU without your children. Older toddlers/choldren can definitely play and do art while you do your hobbies.
