Biden focused on these large macroeconomic markers like GDP growth but it means nothing to the ordinary American if their wages can’t even keep up with inflation that comes with a booming economy. GDP hides the problem of wealth in equality because it doesn’t tell the full story of where income is being generated. Most of what we see as growth is made up of increases in shareholder wealth and they hide behind those figures.
