I remember years ago a parent asked me what their child can do to get an A. It was during morning duty. The child had a B at the time. I said "A B is a good grade" and went on about my business. Parent just said "wow" as I turned around to continue monitoring students.

I’ve run into countless teachers in the store. I have never discussed grades, just a quick hello & on my way.
