Exactly, the LNP has a LONG history of undermining Medicare and the public health system. It was a Howard govt back in 2000 that allowed Private Health Insurers to charge an incremental penalty on all new policies for anyone over the age of 31, thereby pretty much locking everyone into Private Health Insurance which has become more and more expensive with less coverage ever since.
