How do we stop this?

I have worked at a number of federal elections as a polling officer. I am extremely impressed about the amount of checks and balances they have in the system to ensure votes are counted and registered correctly. We still have a paper based system and each polling centre does its own count before phoning in the results. Also the parties are allowed to have scrutineers watch the count and independently record the vote. So pussk would not be able to fiddle the results easily
