I hate when people say getting your period makes you a woman. I was a 10 year old GIRL still in elementary school when I got mine. Educate your child and then go out for ice cream or something. But your daughter is not grown. Also the whole world doesn’t need to know about her period. Yes we all know girls and women have them but at a young age it’s something new and scary and probably deeply embarrassing.
