If you are in the Washington DC area, it is incredibly important to head to the Federal District Court at 5:00 pm in support of Judge Boasberg! An emergency hearing has been scheduled to determine if the Trump Administration directly defied orders from Judge Boasberg to turn around deportation flights headed to El Salvador. 1/

Donald Trump and his administration are NOT above the rule of law. Noncitizens have the right to due process in the US. The executive branch is subject to checks and balances. The judiciary exists to interpret and apply the law and, in part, to ensure that executive overreach is not allowed to stand. Tom Homan, the “border czar,” has stated, “We’re not stopping. I don’t care what the judges think.” This is wildly unacceptable. 2/
