Men were neglected as children who learned to equate praise and gifting as love bc we jumped through hoops to gain the attention of parents who were probably too busy or on drugs. Then when we didn’t receive those it wittled away at our self esteems…and being the generation of men where women gained their financial freedom but try to maintain the liberties of courting-the efforts made by men meant less. So instead of learning to self validate and shift focus men are still out here jumping hoops

As a 61 year old male I do not experience loneliness. I do however enjoy solitude from time to time

Well if being a horrible person put them there and they're not willing to change then its well deserved. I have sympathy for those who are there for other reasons

Men have trouble fostering community with each other. 60 years ago men would join Kiwanis or The Elks or The Masons or a bowling league. Now those organizations are all but dead and men are stuck in playing video games or whatever they do. When you say why don’t you start a running group or a book club or invite likeminded guys to do something you enjoy (all things many women do all the time.)
