Yeah that's the thing, there's a lot of guides for how to do it but it just tells me that sponsored apps are now pushed by microsoft instead of laptop manufacturers. To be honest I only ever check how that's going very occasionally to see what has been going on in the traditional fight between Microsoft and it's users ever since WGA on XP. I love following all the clever ways to get around needing a Microsoft account for Windows even though it doesn't apply to me.
