Ipta postgrad here, as mentioned we tend to have centralised lab (a.k.a shared lab), in my case, several supervisors’ students use the same lab, and if we need specific equipment, we need to borrow from other’s lab, or pay for third party services. And each lab also assigns a non-researcher technician to take care of the lab, sv will refer to the technician…in general the resources and funding are sad…I don’t think our pre-historic autoclave machine from 80s will attract any foreign researchers
