The Zombie cocktail, which contains an astonishing three kinds of rum, was apparently invented by Donn Beach — considered the “founder” of tiki culture — in order to help a hungover customer make it through a business meeting. As the legend goes, the customer returned days later to complain that the concoction had turned him into a zombie for his entire trip.
