At this point "Boomer" is generally an identifier of an aggressive, thinks they're entitled, racist, misogynistic person from this generation. If we say Baby Boomer then you're not a "Boomer". If we're calling you a Boomer, there's a good reason. Also, IDGAF grabbing something out of my hand, including, but not limited to my dogs leash is considered assault. You should call the police next time and have them charged.

Some people have no clue how to act around other people's dogs. As someone with dogs, one of the first things I taught my kids was that you do not touch someone's dog unless they say it's okay. And never touch a service dog. I also hate it when people let their dogs charge up to mine. They're friendly and well trained, but a stranger doesn't know that.

Why are so many people blaming the victims here?

It sounds as if your dog has issues with strangers which is not uncommon, but why would you bring your dog to mix with a roomful of strangers is beyond me. I always agree that a dog or any animals boundaries should be accepted and respected but why as the guardian of the pet would you bring it to an event that will surely test that?
